  • Debian 9 - when can we expect images?

More than 6 months ago, Debian 9 has been released. However, there are only Debian 8 images provided by server4you up to now. Since the regular support of Debian 8 ends June 2018 and LTS two years later, Debian 8 should be no option for anybody, who is going to run a new VPS at server4you.

Is there a schedule, when Debian 9 will be available?

    Hello dc1985

We do already offer Debian 9 on our Dedicated Servers, on the vServers it should be available soon too. I am sorry but there is not ETA yet.

    Best Regards,
    Martin

I need to upgrade from 16.04 to 18.04 too. I tried on a fresh 16.04, but do-release-upgrade fails. Is there any solution?
